This is our very latest product that is designed to fold the control box of the Minelab Equinox 600/800 detectors only.
The unit is manufactured using an Injection Mould, It is not made at all using a 3d printer. This is to preserve the strength and lasting properties of the unit.
We have designed it in such a way that it will fit any shaft that is the same diameter as the original Minelab shaft. There is a simple option of two screws to fit in the body, one of which fits our Tele-Knox anti rotation channel the other fits all normal round shafts that have a drill hole rather than a Tele-Knox channel. The main quick release is simply a large plastic nut that you unfurl by hand to tip the control box backwards.
This unit is very easy to fit simply by attaching it to the bottom of the control box using the four original Minelab allan key bolts that came with your Equinox.

This item will not fit the new Minelab Manticore or the 7/900 Equinox's because of changes to the top shafts that minelab have made.

"Really well made and great engineering, easy to install and the way the control box folds away into the arm rest for added protection when not in use is quite brilliant. Sturdy when in use too!. For those who want to make their minelab equinox's as small as possible then I'd say this is a must have piece of kit. Also included is a locking screw for use with other shafts than a tele knox one plus a spare locking wheel in red (another nice touch). Overall very impressed with this gadget

"I have just fitted my new folding control box adapter and have to say I m very impressed. This is the third version I ve tried the other two being 3D printed versions, the first one broke while fitting it the second one was ok although a bit fiddly having to put two retaining screws in every time you used it (not easy after a day out detecting and your fingers are numb) so I was pleasantly surprised with the simplicity of the Tele-Knox version.
